A CAC BOYM DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM

“To live coram Deo is to live one's entire life in the presence of God, under the authority of God, to the glory of God.”
—R.C. Sproul

What is FYP?

FYP is a 3-month discipleship programme that seeks to holistically equip young people, ages 18 to 35, to live all of life coram Deo (before the face of God).
Whether you’re waiting to go to university, a fresh grad, or in between jobs, FYP aims to prepare you for the reality of life in God’s kingdom by equipping you with the intellectual, moral, and spiritual foundations you need to flourish wherever God calls you to.

FYP has changed my perspective of the world and my future. I am now looking forward to many things in life and I developed a desire to please God in the things I do and decisions I make. God has also blessed me with amazing people in FYP and I could see God working in all of them and in FYP as a whole which further strengthens my faith which I'm so grateful for.

FYP has blessed me with a newfound family in Christ. Through the lessons that we learned together, reflections and times of sharing. I was able to be vulnerable with the other participants, growing more each day. The phrase "Blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb" became a reality throughout the course. Now, I see the importance of viewing Church as family and take steps to foster a strong and close relationship with my own church members.

FYP was where I could ask any question about faith or life (no matter difficult or stupid they sounded) and no one was going to judge me for them. Not only did I find safe place to ask the many questions I had, I also found many answers.

FYP has been an eye opener for me, knowing how my faith isn't just intertwine with my soul but rather in all things and everything on this earth, recognising that imago dei is living out Christ every part and everywhere in our lives.

FYP gave me a platform to explore the different arguments about certain topics and come to my own conclusion. It was a safe space to explore questions and to kickstart my own journey of deepening my faith!

FYP really helped me put my faith into my life. It's easy to separate our beliefs and our secular goals but these 3 months have been a very strong reminder and lesson on how God can be and is in the everyday life.

The speakers who came to share with us were so inspiring! Hearing their journeys and how they try to live out their faith in their sphere of influence gave me so many insights into how I can live out my faith in the world too.

FYP has really helped me put a a lot of what I’m experiencing into perspective. It has helped me understand how our perception of things will shape how we react to the different situations in life. It really gives me the desire to continue growing in my faith even after FYP has ended. God has also blessed me with a great community in my fellow FYP participants, allowing us to grow and learn from one another in an authentic manner. It is really heartwarming to be able to know these now lifelong friends so intimately and to see how God is working in their lives, motivating me to press on this spiritual journey alone and together.

I came to FYP skeptical, thinking it wouldn’t help since I grew up Christian. But after two years of running from God, I was still searching for Him even while serving as a youth leader. Through FYP, my questions about faith were answered, and I realised how much my worldview was shaped by worldly success. What made the journey even more impactful was the community—friends who encouraged, challenged, and journeyed with me. Over three months, God shifted my perspective and drew me back to Him. If you’re seeking God and real community, FYP is where you’ll find both.

I went into FYP having many doubts about God & Christianity, and I was unsure of my own faith. My 3 months in FYP have truly transformed my understanding of the faith, getting to learn more about Him & appreciating what He has done for us so much more. I have also found a community filled with people I’ve grown to love and treasure. If you want to explore the faith with a community to grow together in Christ alongside you, FYP is the place for you!

As someone transitioning into university, I was seeking clarity on where God was calling me. FYP gave me the platform to learn deeply from God’s Word and reflect on His plans for my life. I left with greater assurance of God’s leading and a renewed desire to follow Him. If you’re wrestling with direction or simply wanting to grow in faith, definitely consider FYP!
